LOST  DOGS  (Ontario/Quebec, Canada)

MAXWELL

Maxwell is a red lab, scar on right side of his face, recent neuter. He was lost in the area of Dwyer Hill Road just east of March Road (which leads into Almonte).

He is new to Ottawa, arriving on a transport from Kentucky on Sunday, so he does not know his new home or his new name!  Max is very shy and nervous of people and dogs.  Avoid eye contact.

The area is Upper Dwyer Hill road, Old Almonte road, Manion Heights, Corkery. His foster home is pretty much smack in the middle of that, and he's been seen close to his foster home.

BALU

BALU

BALU

Our dog Balu, a white-coloured golden retriever, was frightened by the earthquake that happened last month here in Ottawa. When we came home from work that night we discovered that he had burst through the front screen window. Though we have been searching for him tirelessly we haven't seen a sign of him. He is micro-chipped and registered with the Canadian Kennel Club and we have filed reports with the city to find out if he did show up injured, but so far all we know that he is at least alive and well somewhere.

We are offering a thousand dollar reward for information leading to his return, or conversely, if someone wanted to offer information but remain anonymous they could post a comment on ottawadogblog.ca  in Balu's post.

Balu is all-white, with curly hair on his tail, around 65 pounds, and very friendly. We miss him terribly and want nothing more then his safe return.  No hard feelings to whoever has been taking care of him. We know he is easy to love
