Bike With My Dog is headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Its Management Team is comprised of hard-core “dog people”, who have 35 years of experience with dogs and are owned by two Hungarian Vizlas and one West Highland White Terrier.

Why Bone Voyage Was Started

Bone Voyage was started in 2004 as an alternative to kennels and pet sitters for pampered dogs and their owners. Anyone who travels understands the guilt associated with leaving a beloved pet behind in a noisy kennel with cages and barking dogs. Imposing on family and friends isn't always an option, and allowing a pet-sitter into your home invades your privacy and still leaves your dog home alone for long periods of time.

The Solution

Bone Voyage will find a private guest home for your dog's vacation, where your canine companion will be treated like a member of the family. We will place your pet in a home best suited to your dog's needs and personality.

Whether your dog needs a large yard and other dogs to play with, a quiet home with no children or other pets, or anything in between, we guarantee your dog will be in a safe and caring home. You and your dog will meet the care providers in their home prior to your vacation, so you will have peace of mind knowing your dog will be well cared for while you are away.

About Us

Malcolm and Christine Watson are dog lovers and the owners of Brutus, an active black Labrador Retriever. They are involved with All Dog Sports Club's agility program, and have volunteered with the Humane Society, both in Ottawa and the Niagara Region. They have also helped bring rescued dogs from Baffin Island to be adopted by new families in the Ottawa area.

Christine and Malcolm are members of Responsible Dog Owners of Canada.

Dawn of a New day is Ottawa's premier pet grooming and styling salon. We are situated in downtown Ottawa, near the Pretoria Bridge on the Rideau Canal. The salon opened its doors 6 years ago.

In December 2007, "Dawn of a New Day" changed ownership and is now proudly owned by Chantal Raby and Henri Poirier. The salon has upgraded its grooming facilities and is offering longer business hours. They are open 6 days a week and we can offer personalized off-hour appointments.

International Professional Groomers, Inc. is an international trade certification program committed to grooming excellence, the humane care of pets, fair business practices and to public health and safety. When you do business with an IPG Certified groomer, you can expect superior quality and service integrity. Dawn of a New Day has one IPG Certified groomer with terriers and sporting breeds, and one IPG Certified Master Groomer. In order to become an IPG Certified Master Groomer, the professional pet groomer must meet IPG's high standard of grooming excellence by undergoing and passing strenuous tests designed to evaluate their grooming skills and expertise.

The Salon has expanded its retail operation and added quality accessories for pets and owners such as Karunda aluminium raised beds, Yaktrax walkers, DogPaws (semi-disposable dog booties), Chilly Dogs winter apparel and rain slickers, J.W natural rubber toys, grooming accessories and quality pet shampoos.

The Dog House is here to take the pressure off of owners when it comes to the daily requirements of their dog(s)...So relax and create special moments between you, your family and your dog!

What this means for owners is what is left; a well behaved, tired dog to spend some quality one on one time with.

With quick, immediate access to the Queensway and other major routes, sending your dog to daycare is a breeze.

If you don’t have a car or there’s still just not enough time, use the taxi service.

You can trust The Dog House in providing a safe and secure environment. The back yard is fully fenced and secured from top to bottom. All walks are leashed and secured with slip collars.

Inside the house, there are multiple flow gates to ensure all dogs are secure from the main entrance. There are rooms with big, comfy beds to have a break from all of the fun. If you are too little, we have a special room just for you!

Throughout the day, endless water bowls, toys, inside/outside play and treats which are supplied by Bark and Fitz.
